In the first annual report, we present data from the previous year. Highlights include
- Cypriot artists released songs in 11 different languages, as well as instrumental and bilingual songs
- Total releases grew 16% from 2024
- All 1343 releases amount to 162 hours, or almost one straight week!
- English and Hip-hop/Rap remain the most widely sung language and genre, respectively.

Cypriot producers and writers are also working hard, both in Cyprus and internationally.
Bluegirl has produced songs on Déyyess’ both EPs in 2025, a single by Jack Kane, and received funding from PRS to upgrade her home studio! She has had sessions with Daydreamers, Ross MacDonald (The 1975), Nxdia, Lucy Blue, total tommy, while also writing and producing her own upcoming project. Listen to Written By Bluegirl
Christian Cherry (Zinonas Gianni) has not only written his own upcoming EP, but also for Tamta, Demy, Nikolas Raptakis and Teo.x3 in 2025, and his collaboration with Teo.x3 got editorial playlisted in the UK in November as well as sprite (performed by Tamta & Teo.x3) in December. In late November, he released a highly anticipated single “Home Depot”, off his upcoming EP, and its music video made waves on Twitter, including a tweet by PopTingz. GOKO! (Gökberk Çırakoğlu) has in 2025 produced two songs for Turkish Popstar Simge and the collab between UZI & Motive – which also hit number 1 in Cyprus upon release. Goko! has also co-written one song with Erzurumlu for Masal. Listen to Written By GOKO!
2025 has been a busy year for Mr.Foxy (Andreas Konstantinou). He released his 5th album “Breaking Bread”, executive produced Yotan’s debut album “Red Fox”, Nicksie’s debut single ‘PROMISES’, and a single across the ocean, New York City’s own Abby Helms and her single “i think i am”. ody icons (Odysseas Konstantinou) has, in 2025, written Demy and Theo Evan’s collaboration, for Tamta and Demy (occasionally along with Christian Cherry), and Yianna Terzi. In December 2025, he released a collaborative album with Christos K. Theodorou. Listen to Written By ody icons
In 2025, Tolga Erzurumlu has stayed busy with Turkish RnB newcomer Masal, producing and/or writing every single one of hers this year! Erzurumlu also released an Afro remix in collaboration with Kenan Doglu in February; remixing has long been part of Erzurumlu’s career, including a track on Buray’s third album.
