My name is Birkan Özdemir, professionally known as Oneblood. I am a rapper, songwriter and independent artist from Nicosia, Cyprus. Music has been a part of my life since childhood, not only as a form of entertainment but also as a way to express myself and make sense of the world around me. Over the years, I have developed my own artistic identity by combining different influences and experiences into my music.
I first became involved with Hip-Hop culture in my early teens, inspired by international rap artists and the storytelling power of the genre. What started as writing lyrics and recording demos eventually evolved into a lifelong commitment to music. In 2012, winning the “Freestyle King” title at the Cyprus Hip Hop Jam Festival gave me the confidence to pursue music professionally and continue refining my craft.
My sound blends elements of Boom Bap, Trap, Afrobeat and contemporary urban music while staying connected to my Cypriot roots. I enjoy experimenting with different rhythms, melodies and perspectives, creating music that feels both personal and universal. Throughout my career, I have released albums, EPs and singles that have reached listeners across Cyprus, Turkey and beyond.
Today, I continue to work independently through my own label, Magnus Music Entertainment. My latest project, 1B32, represents a new chapter in my artistic journey, bringing together different moods, stories and influences into one cohesive body of work. As an artist, my goal is simple: to create honest music that connects with people and leaves a lasting impression.
