Olga Prepis: My debut EP “if i was someone else” lives in the space between being seen and being used, being wanted but never fully chosen. It’s about staying in places, relationships, and versions of yourself long after they stop feeling like home, hoping something will change while already knowing it probably won’t. Blending atmospheric production, cinematic textures, and intimate lyricism, the project explores loneliness, emotional dependency, nostalgia, and the quiet ache of becoming someone else just to be loved. Each song captures a different stage of that experience: the denial, the longing, the escape, the self-destruction, and eventually, the acceptance. Raw, dreamy, and deeply personal, the EP exists somewhere between reality and imagination.
Hovig Nassanian: Losing your patience with the notorious Limassol traffic jams? Track 4 (Limassol Traffic Blues) of this album is just for you (and me!). This is my 4th piano album since 2020 and one that I am probably most intrigued and excited about because it is 100% improvised. The 4 tracks on it – each running around 12 minutes – were all recorded in one uninterrupted take with no score or edits. The style? I guess a blend of neoclassical lyricism, jazz harmony and my Armenian background melodic influences. That sounds too fancy. It was more of a case where I just want into my garden shed studio, sat at the piano, focused on a feeling, emotion or imagery…and started playing. As my fingers played around the keys, my ears were constantly evaluating in real time the themes and patterns coming through and guiding the process. Is it any good? Well, I am biased, but you will be the best judge yourself when you listen.
Paschalia Philippou: I wrote this song at a time where I was trying to figure out who I actually was as an artist and even though it took me years, through this song I explain everything as I truly am and only!
Andia: If I had to describe Athens without you, it would sound something like this.
