New Music Friday Cyprus – March 6th

Cemre Arca & The Beez are back with their third single “İsgoç Düğünü” . The group explained to us how the song begins with a mellow Turkish melody and blossoms into a vibrant Scottish jig. They continued “It’s about people who finally come across the ones who truly understand them, recognising each other through the smallest, most unexpected details, finding home in one another. It’s a journey from quiet longing to joyful celebration.” Sofia Eleftheriou releases her debut album and graces the cover of Cypriot Folk while Doruksen continues his global reach of techno with “Run From The Chains” (Doruksen has the 7th most monthly listeners by all Cypriot artists!) and thus covers “just (cypriot) hits”!
