I’m a North London Cypriot currently living in Nottingham. Grew up in a Cypriot household to music from my culture as well as Ska and Reggae. I’ve played in festivals bands for the last 20 years all over the UK, northern Europe and elsewhere in the world. I’ve always played Eastern/Balkan/Asian minor music, I am a bouzouki player and now work as a producer under the name Komboloi Star, making eastern Mediterranean Electronica. My music is fast, dark and urgent. I play live instruments over by loops and brakes, for a furious live show.
