Even as the World Cup is over, the last week of July continues to be dominated by Shakira and Burna Boy! Dai Dai, reached the summit in its’ fifth week, last week of June, and then spent all of July in the top 2 (1-1-2-1-1), only interrupted by Cyprus’ own Anna Vissi and Aigaio reaching the summit in the week ending July 16th. It became the first song by a Cypriot woman to reach the top spot. It is the 13th Cypriot number 1 overall, in the chart’s 243 week history.
Anna Vissi joined Shakira & Burna Boy in the top 2 once again this week as OLO PIO PANO debuted at number 2. Out of the six songs by Cypriot woman that have peaked in the top 5, Vissi has three of them (Aigaio, OLO PIO PANO and Se Periptosi Pou).
