Christian Cherry

Christian Cherry is a Cypriot singer-songwriter crafting cinematic, deeply personal indie-pop that navigates themes of queer identity, small-town isolation, and the pursuit of the American dream. Rooted in storytelling, his music blends raw lyricism with atmospheric production, evoking the emotional depth of artists like Lana Del Rey and the indie grit of Medium Build.

Following the viral success of singles Solo and Hard to Love, Cherry quickly became one of the most in-demand young songwriters, and has since written for major label artists in Greece; such as Tamta, Demy, and Yianna Terzi while carving out a sound that’s uniquely his. His upcoming single, I Wish I Could Be Cynical (March 4, 2025), is a sweeping piano-led ballad exploring vulnerability and regret—an anthem for feeling too much, too late.

A late bloomer navigating the blurred lines between adolescence and adulthood, Cherry’s songwriting exists in the in-between — torn between destruction and divinity, the surreal and the real, the past and the future. Teetering between ruin and self-realization, his world is equal parts American gothic and the raw, unfiltered energy of 2020’s hyperpop.

With a strong presence in Cyprus and Greece, recent radio play, and an expanding TikTok following, he is shaping his narrative on his own terms. His full-length LP, Too Good for This Town, is slated for later in 2025 — an intimate yet expansive portrait of queer youth, heartbreak, and the uneasy beauty of growing up.
