Spend the weekend with Olga Prepis

Every week, one Cypriot artist around the world tells us about their weekend.

Current with the lead single, make me drown (released last Friday, June 5th), from her upcoming debut EP,
if i was someone else (out June 26th!) Olga Prepis tells us about a busy New York City weekend.

Friday

Fridays are usually my chill day. I spent the morning finishing up leftover work from Thursday before heading to the gym to clear my head after a busy week. It’s also the day I really lock in and focus on my vocals, whether that’s practicing, recording, or preparing for upcoming sessions. In the evening, I met up with friends for drinks and a good yap session, catching up on everything we’ve missed during the week. It’s my chance to slow down, recharge, and ease into the weekend.

Saturday

Saturdays are for exploring and recharging. I started the day with a workout and a coffee before heading out to the Governors Ball Music Festival, where I spent the day soaking up inspiration from incredible artists and performances. As an independent artist, every minute counts, so I also carved out some time to work on content and schedule posts for the week ahead. Later that night, I celebrated a friend’s birthday, ending the day surrounded by great people and good energy.

Sunday

Sundays are dedicated to music. I always start the day by grabbing tea before heading to my weekly session with my friend and incredible producer, Aleksei. We spend hours writing, producing, and bringing new ideas to life. Outside of the studio, I usually fit in a workout, call my family back in Cyprus, and spend the evening meal prepping and preparing for the week ahead before winding down with an episode or two of my favorite show.
