Cypriot Digital Chart – week 21

Cyprus surrenders to the blindin’ lights and following her Eurovision win, DARA makes history a couple of times over
– She is the first ever Bulgarian to chart, and debuting at number 1 at that!
– As Bangaranga debuts at number 1, it is the second Eurovision song to reach number 1 (the first winning song)
– and she is the 16th solo woman to reach the summit!

Antigoni becomes the 2nd Cypriot woman to peak at #2 in JALLA’s 15th week on the chart. She is the 8th Cypriot artist to peak in the top 2, joining A!MS, Michalis Hatzigiannis, Giorgos Vanis, Nikolas Antoniades, Nikos Georgiou [today active under Nikolas Kyprios], Konstantinos Christoforou, and Marilia to do so. It is also the first Eurovision entry by a Cypriot to peak within the top 2.

Following Eurovision week, 11 Eurovision songs chart on the Cypriot Digital Chart. It is the second time that 11 Eurovision songs have charted at the same time (the first time being after the 2024 Eurovision final) – bringing the total Eurovision songs that have charted to 42. DARA and Antigoni make history together, as for the first time ever, the top 2 are Eurovision songs.

Fuego by Eleni Foureira makes its first appearance on the chart, after a huge resurgence in streams following the Eurovision final. Fuego becomes Eleni Foureira’s 24th entry on the chart, and her 12th solo song.

Drake takes over the chart following his 3-album joint release, with 12 songs charting simultaneously. The record belongs to The Weeknd with 17 songs charting simultaneously, following the release of Dawn FM.

Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull both earn their first entry on the chart, following On The Floor’s appearance on the new TV show “Off Campus”.
